So things on my end of the universe are going pretty well. I finally have found a new job after.. hmm 7 months of unemployment. But those months let me get a lot done so for that I am grateful. So, going along with my ventures of trying to get my name out there in these tough times, I am going to be featured in another gallery! This time it is the Blue Line Gallery in Roseville CA. If ya'll are close you should check it out.. if not, just support from the farther reaches of the galaxy.

My work will be featured during their "Lottery for the Arts" in September. The situation is a little interesting. They made a call out to local artists to DONATE their work. yeah.. no moneys. a little sad, but all funds that are collected by patrons go to supporting the gallery and their art programs which reach out to the local community and children, which is totally awesome, because appreciation is on the down slide. So people come and go for a week, view all the art. At the end a raffle will be drawn and people get to pick the art piece they want, first drawn first pick kind of deal. So to add on top of all these goodies, they vote for their favorite piece. On the last day all the artists get together to shmooze and evil glare each other, and the person who was most favored by the guests wins 250$ wowza! so its not all about the moneys.. but .. it wouldn't hurt to win some!
